The thread gauge ring must be manually screwed onto the entire length of the workpiece's thread without excessive force. If this is not possible, the thread does not meet the required standards (rejected). A reference temperature of 20°C applies to both workpieces and gauges. Upon request, VÖLKEL can provide a factory calibration certificate (price on inquiry). Calibration is performed in an independent testing laboratory following the specified standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI) using IAC thread scanners.

• Manual Threading Test: The Gewindelehrring should screw onto the Werkstück's thread smoothly by hand, without excessive force
• Thread Quality Check: If the Gewindelehrring cannot be screwed on, the thread does not meet the required standards (rejected)
• Reference Temperature: The Werkstücke and Lehren are calibrated at 20° Celsius
• Certification on Request: VÖLKEL offers a Werkskalibrierschein upon request (price available upon inquiry)
• Independent Calibration: The calibration is performed in a lab independent of VÖLKEL's production, following specified norms (DIN, ISO, ANSI) on IAC-Gewindescanner
