Fibro Warriors

Patients who have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia are called Fibro Warriors.There are way too many symptoms, thank goodness we don't all have every symptom.There is more being learned about Fibro, and doctors are treating it much more seriously.This book talks to not only the patient but also their family, and people who are important in the patient's life. Family, friends, and employers do not understand the problems that Fibro Warriors are facing. Fibro Warriors speaks to family, friends, and others who are important to the Fibro patient. We are not hypochondriacs, lazy workers, and crybabies who complain about everything.We have lost a lot, and the constant battles with the people we care about make our lives even more difficult. We want and need to have a normal life, like everyone else. Sharing this information with our family and friends will hopefully give us a better sense of normalcy and inclusion. The author writes from experience. She was diagnosed in 1995 with Fibro.We are Fibro Warriors, and we need to communicate with our families, with our spouses, and our employers. We need to know our strengths and our limitations. We need to pace ourselves and we need to organize how our routines are managed.
